Natural detergents

Did you think that by making your own detergent and fabric softener, you not only looked for a cheaper solution, but also avoided many synthetic dog ears? Not only your wallet is happy with this solution, but also your environment, as these products are much more environmentally friendly than their store counterparts.

Did you know that laundry soap, returned to living waters, disturbs the natural ecosystem less or not at all? Ok, it's not always easier to do it yourself, but it's still worth it. I

f you don't succeed at first, don't give up, often a lot depends on the texture of the raw materials, and somehow we always want to compare the final product with the store stuff, even though natural solutions have a slightly different texture.

Laundry jelly:

  • 2 liters of water,
  • 20 dkg of laundry soap,

Grate the laundry soap and heat it with 2 liters of water in a saucepan on a low heat. When ready, let it cool down and mix with a stick blender. The consistency of the finished gel depends very much on the quality of the laundry soap. Liquid detergent:

  • 2.5 liters of water
  • 50 g of laundry soap
  • 40 g of baking soda
  • 60 g of washing soda

Heat the water in a pot and add the grated soap. Heat over a slow fire, stirring, and when the consistency is homogeneous, add the washing soda and baking soda. When everything has dissolved, remove from heat and blend. Then let it cool down. It is necessary to shake before use. Lemon-clove washing powder

  • 150 g washing soap
  • 300 g washing soda
  • 150 g baking soda
  • 20 drops of lemon essential oil (optional)
  • 10 drops of clove essential oil (optional, or contraindicated for children under 6 years of age, high blood pressure, pregnancy or breastfeeding)

Grate the washing soap and mix mix the ingredients thoroughly. 2-3 tablespoons per wash is recommended, but it also depends on the degree of contamination. Fabric softener

  • 800 ml vinegar
  • 200 ml water
  • 5 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 5 drops of lavender essential oil

Place the ingredients in a bottle and mix thoroughly. It is recommended to shake it before each use and use 60 ml of the household fabric softener per wash. You can find the idea in Brigitta Munkácsi's book Lavender and Vinegar.
