Knowing the colors associated with the seven chakras can help people connect with their unique abilities. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for "wheel" that symbolizes the spinning of energy. Energy centers have a unique frequency and the color corresponds to that. For example, the root chakra has the lowest frequency and is associated with the color red. In contrast, the crown chakra has the highest frequency and is associated with the color violet. Moving from the bottom up, the colors of the chakra system align with the colors of the rainbow.
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine and serves as the foundation and foundation for the upper six chakras. It informs our basic human needs, including survival and safety instincts. Like the first chakra, this chakra opens and anchors the following chakras, connecting us to courage, willpower, vitality, safety and security.
The color of the root chakra is red, the most visually stimulating color that indicates warning and danger.
